1. Is AVCWOI a formally registered organization?
Yes. We are a non-stock corporation officially incorporated under the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as of March 7, 2026. Our term of existence is set for 50 years.
2. Where exactly do you operate?
Our entire value chain model is centered in Santa Barbara, Iloilo, while our soybean production specifically extends to New Lucena, Iloilo.
3. How can I become a member of the cooperative?
We welcome natural, organic, and transitioning farmers from our target areas. Membership involves onboarding into the ESSA Network, participating in Inner Conditioning Workshops (ICW), and committing to regenerative farming practices.
4. When are your regular meetings?
Our Annual General Meetings for stockholders or members are held on the 3rd Monday of January each year. Our Board of Trustees meets monthly to oversee operations.
5. What makes your soy products different?
Unlike 95% of the world's soya, which is GMO, our "NamSoya" products are 100% organic and chemical-free. We use a zero-waste process that utilizes the whole bean—including the "okara" (soy pulp) for nutritious breads and snacks.
6. Do you accept investments?
As a non-stock corporation, we do not solicit or accept investments or placements from the public, nor do we issue investment contracts. We fulfill our non-profit objectives through donations, grants, and endowments from local and international sources.
7. Can institutions order in bulk?
Yes. We are actively establishing binding MOAs with schools, municipal feeding programs, and restaurants for a consistent supply of taho, tofu, and soymilk. Please contact our Processing and Marketing Team for wholesale inquiries.
